How to register for Distance Education courses

You may wish to start by reviewing the Distance Education FAQ's to get a better idea about what to expect. You can also review the Before You Begin page to familiarize yourself with what may be required to take a Distance Edcuation course. Review UNLV's Academic Calendar for important information about registration deadlines, late fees, add/drop dates, and more. Pay particular attention to information regarding the courses you plan to enroll in.

Self-Registration

In order to register for DE courses, new non-admitted and non-enrolled undergraduate and graduate students must first fill out a Non-Admitted Student Information Form, which will allow you to use UNLV's registration system. Nevada residents must also complete a residency form.

If you're an out-of-state student or NREA teacher please read the additional information below.

Out-of-state Students

If you are taking UNLV Distance Education classes from another state, when you are ready to register call our Office at (702) 895-0334. We have a special tuition rate for you that will save you money. We will register you and give you further information.
